I believe in treating your body, mind and spirit like gold because they’re the only ones you’ll get for free in this lifetime. The name The Knife Life started off as a joke, playing off of my desire to try new recipes at home and work out, rather than dance until dawn in a crowded nightclub. Oh, youth.

I’m a late 20-something South Florida girl now living in Dallas. A summer internship with a health journalist sparked my interest in wellness, and it just keeps getting stronger! After graduating from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism, I worked in news and media sales. Writing and communication are passions of mine. Selling airtime? Not so much.

I currently manage a North Texas fitness studio while pursuing my MBA at the University of Texas at Dallas.
